We’re often asked how many times per week you should FLEX in order to see results and improvements. While we suggest 3-5 times per week is a great goal, what should you do on the days you don’t workout?

  1. Don’t stress. Fitness isn’t lost in a day or even a week. Rest days are something our body absolutely needs.
  2. Find ways to stay active. Desk jobs don’t inherently allow for a lot of activity during the work day. Get creative in finding ways to move. Walking during your lunch break or taking the long way to the restroom are great ways to stretch your legs out.
  3. Focus on food. Use the days you don’t FLEX as a chance to really eat well. Weight loss and maintenance is generally 75% diet and 25% exercise. Put extra effort into that 75% on the days you don’t make it to the gym.
  4. Do something for yourself. Many of our clients see FLEX as the best hour of their day because it is just about them. Find small ways throughout the day to treat your body and mind right, which in turn helps you be the best version of yourself for the people around you.
